Competitions
Please note that students must be currently studying with a member of the Victoria Branch to be eligible for these competitions.
Murray Adaskin Composition Competition
This annual competition is open to all levels and disciplines. The Canada Music Week Featured Composer judges the competition. Winners perform their pieces at the Canada Music Week Concert in November.
Important changes:
Application deadline is June 30.
If possible, performers should include an audio recording with their entry.

Madeleine Till Open Competition
This juried annual award is open to advanced students (ARCT Performance level) of any discipline. This is held annually in January.
Applications are accepted until December 1.
Amount awarded: $300 subject to change

Mary Adamson Young Artists Competition
This advanced piano competition is held once every two years in anticipation of the Provincial and National Piano Competitions.
Application deadline is December 1st.
Amount awarded: TBA, plus travel expenses to the Provincial Competition
